A delightful apple and elderflower-scented aroma. You'll also find some floral, herbaceous and citrus notes, with a lovely dry saline finish.
A blend of fruit from two sustainably farmed vineyards: the Fraher vineyard (planted in 2002 on Omihi clays), and Porters vineyard (planted in 2004 on Domett clay soils). Grapes were harvested between 26th and 29th March 2021. Fermented with natural vineyard yeasts in a combination of tank, neutral barrels and clay amphora. 5% fermented on skins for 2-3 weeks. The wine sat on its ferment lees without SO2 for 3 months prior to blending in August. It was bottled unfined
