Kelly Washington Rosé 2024
A wholly classy, elegant Rosé where the focus is not on the fruit, but on creating a dry wine with texture, structure and depth of acidity.
The grapes were hand-harvested on 21st March 2024, and gently whole-bunch pressed to achieve minimal skin contact. The juice was settled in small tanks for 5 days, after which fermentation took place using wild yeasts, in a combination of small stainless-steel tanks and neutral oak barrel. After one month fermenting, the vessels were combined and the wine aged on lees in a stainless-steel tank, for 3 months.
