Fromm Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Full of lemons and limes, a touch of grapefruit, freshly cut-grass, green bell pepper and elderflower all rolled-up together with some black current leaf and just a subtle hint of trademark Marlborough passionfruit.
Hand-harvested on March 28th and 29th, 2023, grapes underwent whole-bunch pressing to gently extract the juice while minimising phenolic extraction. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks using wild (indigenous) yeasts. Post-fermentation, the wine matured on fine lees for five months, enhancing texture and complexity. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration in September 2023.
