Kumeu River Coddington Chardonnay 2023

Grapes from the Coddington vineyard were hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed. Fermentation occurred with indigenous yeasts in seasoned oak barrels, with no new oak used in 2023. A full malolactic fermentation followed. The wine matured for 11 months on lees before bottling, showing richness even in a lighter vintage.
