Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Noir 2020
Alluring and layered – dark berries, hints of rose, and a pinch of spice. There’s structure here, but it’s wrapped in silk. A wine to savour slowly.
From the estate’s oldest vines, hand-harvested with 40% whole bunches included. Fermentation was spontaneous, followed by malolactic in oak. The wine spent 11 months in French oak (30% new), blended, and aged another eight months before bottling.
